Hello and welcome to Pawsome Poms web site. We are very small, home-based breeders, with home-raised, child- friendly Pomeranians. We do not use cages and specialize in Pomeranians only. We have a large home and yards for our Poms to romp around and play. We started working with Poms in 1997 when a relative gave us a male Pom named Gizmo. We fell in love immediately with his total devotion and loving, watchdog personality. Gizmo was our first Pomeranian and the inspiration for our breeding program. Our Poms are part of our family, raised in our home with a cat, two children and visits from grandchildren. They are well socialized. Grooming and nail trimming starts at four weeks of age so they are well accustomed to these before you bring one home. We strive to produce purebred ACA exotic Pomeranians. All are up to date on dewormings and vaccinations.
We chose our three females "Kayla Marie Diva" , "Pouf Le Belle" and "Sweet Jewel Belle" for their conformation, color and disposition. All are purebred, in excellent health condition, and of a young breeding age. We chose as our sire for his pedigree, conformation, color, and disposition. Our females have Pombredens and/or Grandaires breeding in their pedigrees.
General Pomeranian Information:
Grooming/Brushing needs to be done frequently--weekly at minimum. Their hair WILL get matted if not brushed thoroughly and regularly. Pomeranians also need exercise if kept in a small environment as they ARE an active breed of dog. They are fearless and will not hesitate to attack even the largest of dogs (they seem unaware of their small size). They are excellent companions, therapy dogs, and even Service dogs.
Please "child/puppy" proof your home and supervise them when they are "free roaming" your home. Electrical cords & toxic poisons could end your puppy’s life. Don't forget--puppies are teething and will chew on ANYTHING!!
